AICTS is present in every field that affects society as a whole and especially in those areas, groups and collectives that have been traditionally linked to Social Work and Social Sciences: children, youth, vulnerable families, elderly, homeless people, immigrants, and communities that are socially excluded. AICTS is based on a three-sphere model: research, intervention and dissemination. Among the Association’s main activities are:

Research projects: AICTS creates and addresses theoretical, empirical, interdisciplinary, and international research projects. It counts with a wide network of professionals and teams specialized in numerous disciplines.

Intervention projects: Actions reflecting the outcomes of research and other activities, working jointly with other entities and partners in various intervention projects.

Publications: Creation of new publications and participation in existing ones that allow the diffusion of the Association and its teams’ activities, working with other entities and partners in various fields and across countries.

EHQUIDAD Journal: The International Journal of Welfare Policy and Social Work is open to all Social Sciences to engage scholars and practitioners from the scientific community.

Conferences and workshops: AICTS organizes conferences, seminars and workshops addressing its areas of study. AICTS also contributes with other entities and agents: Universities, non-governmental organizations, and public and private institutions.
