AICTS arises from the initiative of a group of university professors of social work and social sciences in Europe, Latin America and United States. Using global perspective and open to the society at large, its scientific activity is characterized by responsibility and commitment to the quality of life and well-being of the citizens.
Objectives
AICTS was created with a wide range of interrelated objectives to facilitate theoretical reflection, scientific research and practical intervention in the different areas that affect social work and the social sciences.
What do we do?
AICTS studies developments in social work and social science areas like: children, youth, families, elderly, poverty, exclusion, and inequalities, to understand, intervene, and disseminate research findings and practices. For this reason the exchange of ideas and experiences among professionals by means of publications, projects and social networks are essential in a globalized society.
The Team
AICTS is formed by university professors and professionals committed to the association’s mission. The association management team is composed of: a board of directors, a scientific committee, a research team and an editorial group for the Ehquidad journal.
